Pictures from Friday

We had fun Friday playing outside while the weather was nice,
and hiding inside from the thunderstorms that hit in the late afternoon.
Here are some pictures of Princess in her sandbox, chalk drawing on
the brick patio, making bubbles with Dad
and just running around being crazy.....

That looks like a great morning! (And I even envy the thunderstorms a bit, living in a place that can go 8 months without a single drop of rain.)

She looks like she's truly had a great day! What a lucky little girl.

And wasn't that storm a doozy? I was at the farmer's stand when it came through, and was drenched when we got to the car. Taking advantage of the cooler weekend...enjoy the outdoors!

Chanale- we are pretty humid here, so there are many who would envy your dryness.
Mrs. Darling- Thank you, I hope she agrees one day. ;-)
Angela- It was a doozy- I have to get to the farmers market too and soon.
We need watermelon!

Those are some wicked awesome bubbles! I can't show Sophia or she will be very jealous.

Knowledge which is acquired under compulsion has no hold on the mind. Therefore do not use compulsion, but let early education be a sort of amusement; you will then be better able to discover the child's natural bent .
