Feeling Better

Thanks to everyone who left a comment or sent an e-mail of concern
and well wishes for Princess's recovery, she finally woke up after sleeping for
three and a half hours and says she is fine now.(no doubt we will be up very late tonight)
She did keep water down (which she was unable to do earlier),
but has been unwilling to have anything else.
We played "grocery store", taking turns being the customer
and cashier and then we drew some pictures.
I especially enjoyed Princess's "fairy", because she pointed out
that only part of her wing is visible because it is behind her arm.
Now we are moving on to playing with cars and her "jenga" blocks.
Yes, Jenga blocks, I have been unable to find where in this house I stashed her
set of wood blocks when she started throwing them around the living room,
so she has taken the Jenga game hostage to use in their place.

Glad P is feeling better. You have a great kid. She plays so well. Love the orange stuffed animal in the grocery cart.

Princess is quite an artist! I hope she feels like a little something to eat soon. CJ loves to play grocery store too- I haven't gotten her a shopping cart yet though.

I didn't realize she was sick until now,it's so hard when they have stomach viruses:(I am glad she's better though! She seemed to have a good time today too:)

Something must be going around because O had a bad stomachache for many hours last night. I was certain he was going to hurl and even had bags ready, but after some sprite he felt better and slept

I am glad she is feeling better. How lucky we are to have this lifestyle where our worlds can just stop when they need us. Take care of yourself as well, for the only thing worse than a sick child is a sick mama!

I guess I should have read this first instead of starting at the bottom and working my way up.

I am glad Princess is better enough to play.

Thanks everyone! Yes, she is very resilient and drawing often helps her feel better.
LOL, the shopping cart was a gift I was not "into", but I don't know how we lived without it before we had it she plays with it every single day!
And Heather, I promise I am still looking for her blocks! lol

Knowledge which is acquired under compulsion has no hold on the mind. Therefore do not use compulsion, but let early education be a sort of amusement; you will then be better able to discover the child's natural bent .
