April Planning

April is National Poetry Month and National Kite Month
In honor of this I give you the following poem

Read Aloud Rhymes for the Very Young
selected by Jack Prelutsky and
illustrated by Marc Brown

I often sit and wish that I
Could be a kite up in the sky,
And ride upon the breeze and go
Whichever way I chanced to blow.

4/1 begins National Week of the Ocean
4/1 April Fool's Day
4/2 International Children's Book Day and begins Passover
4/8 begins National Garden Week and is Easter Sunday
4/15 begins National Library Week and is my Birthday!
4/22 begins International Invention Week

We will be learning about Passover,Easter and the ocean during the week of 4/1,
