Looks fun!

We might try to get in on this today.

Your homeschooling area is gorgeous! It is just perfect. :)

Sushi? I love it! And it really does look like Sushi!

Does P like Sushi or has she just seen you eat it? I wish my kids would it it. Big sigh.

P did a great job. I am glad she had fun. Isn't it entertaining to see what they decide to create?

Thanks again for joining in! I hope next week's "toothpicks" isn't too strange, but it could be fun I think!

What a different world now: she is so young yet she knows sushi. I never knew what it was until my forties! And I still won't touch it. But her charming sculptures reminded me of the last time I used Play Dough: we made replicas of ancient oil lamps in my Sunday School class. I did great! I wish I had remembered this earlier (even though the lamp is long gone and would not have helped me with this project). I did the Puzzle Theme finally, since I missed it and have nothing to sculpt and no talent anyhow!

Knowledge which is acquired under compulsion has no hold on the mind. Therefore do not use compulsion, but let early education be a sort of amusement; you will then be better able to discover the child's natural bent .
