Learn anything new lately?

My friend Heather gave me an award this week..

How cool is that ? I want to pass this on to all the blogs I read.Seriously,
if you are on my sidebar, or I visit you,
I learn something from you..that is why I visit. That being said,
I will keep it to three, like Heather before me.(so others may pass it on to someone)
I can not express enough how much the blog community has
helped me become a better Homeschooling Mom, each blog that
I visit has lead me to a new friend. It made me realize I am not
alone, not even in feeling alone sometimes. I am not the only
one who has doubts in any given day about my choices,
or my abilities. For that I thank you all.
I also learn great creative solutions to problems or
issues that crop up. Mariposa
has been especially helpful to me lately. She may not even realize
how much she influences me, my homeschool sure doesn't look like hers,
(although I wish it did)
but I gain a lot of insight and solutions from her.
Cher Mere
has taught me to put myself out there a bit more..to look for friends
where I want to find them.Bloom where I am planted so to speak.

Sara
is always reading..books I would not have chosen, but
that now I must find and read. Can you ask more of a teacher than that?
Now, because I change my mind like the wind..I still want to pass it on to all of
you, so if you are here on my sidebar, feel free to take a bit of "blog love" from
me to you and share with some other blog friends when you do. ;-)

And Heather, it goes without saying.."Right Back At-cha"!

Thank you!!! I love your blog. You are always doing amazing things with Princess and you seem to have so many idyllic moments. Thank you for sharing so much with us.

That's really sweet Kate and an encouragement. Each month I have been gradually writing less frequently, and more recently considered not blogging. Not because we are struggling, school seems to be going well this year, and maybe I am too cheery or appear too perfect.

Thank you! I get a lot of our books from your blog too. :)

I couldn't agree with you more. Mariposa has been a great help on and off line, Sara is full of great book ideas as well as an alternative living guide. And Cher does indeed show courage and great ideas for homeschooling.

My homeschool buddies and I are all posting pics of our "home schools" as part of our idea sharing.

Knowledge which is acquired under compulsion has no hold on the mind. Therefore do not use compulsion, but let early education be a sort of amusement; you will then be better able to discover the child's natural bent .
