Happy Halloween

Halloween was celebrated on Friday
with a nice and easy bit of Trick or Treating
for Princess and Peanut.
The girls played, dressed up, sang and danced,
practiced polite trick or treating on their Moms,
and when Farmer Dad got home from work, we all headed out for the real thing.
This is a bit of what it looked like in
our neighborhood.

The last two pictures are special for Zilla.Princess was totally excited by the Obama pumpkin.
She specifically asked me to take pictures to share with her pal Zilla.
We walked the 6 or 7 blocks from our house to my Grandmother's house, and then my Sister
drove us home. The adults were tired, and it was dark.
She joined us all for pizza (made by me) and yummy chocolate chip cookies made by Peanut's Mom.
The girls colored, played some more and then everyone went home and we went to bed after watching one more scary movie together. It always amazes me how much candy is collected in the little bit of trick or treating we do. She had fun picking out which piece to eat first.
Saturday we did a bit of work around the house, and in the yard. I picked some tomatoes and we went over to my Grandmother's to celebrate my Goddaughter's 21st Birthday.Today will be spent hanging out at home
together. I hope you all had a wonderful weekend filled with happy moments too!

Beautiful!

I'm living vicariously. My kids had no interest this year :(

Well, Younger Eena seemed to like my Obam-o-lantern, but then she cracked wise and asked if I planned to pass out campaign buttons to trick-or-treaters.

Am I THAT bad??

Everything looks so festive! I love that Obama pumpkin! We had to dodge "Yes On 8" and "No On 8" signs the whole time we trick-or-treated... the battle rages on in California.

Thank you Gals, they were both Tinker Bell! P was planning on being an
Angel, but when Peanut showed up as Tink, she changed her mind. ;-)
I don't have one picture of P.from the front..hopefully Peanut's Mom
will send one to me. lol

What a fun Halloween! You're lucky to live in a neighborhood that still does door-to-door trick or treating. Everyone around here seems to attend "Fall Festivals" at local churches. LOVE the Obama pumpkin!

Knowledge which is acquired under compulsion has no hold on the mind. Therefore do not use compulsion, but let early education be a sort of amusement; you will then be better able to discover the child's natural bent .
