Today is National Little League Girl's Day

In 1973, New Jersey was the first state to allow girls to
play Little League.
If you have a daughter, take her outside to toss a ball around today,
if you have a son, pay him a compliment, tell him he runs like a girl.
;-) Just kidding.

How is it that you know all of these fun days to celebrate? Is there a particular website that I could perhaps view and join the celebrations? :)
PS- I played boys little league as a little girl... the happiest day of my life (at 7 years old) was the day I found out there was a girls softball little league :)

LOL, that's funny. I remember always thinking, "Whats wrong with doing things like a girl?" My husband tells me I throw like a girl and I say, "Thanks! Want me to teach you how?"

Knowledge which is acquired under compulsion has no hold on the mind. Therefore do not use compulsion, but let early education be a sort of amusement; you will then be better able to discover the child's natural bent .
