In 1973, New Jersey was the first state to allow girls to play Little League. If you have a daughter, take her outside to toss a ball around today, if you have a son, pay him a compliment, tell him he runs like a girl. ;-) Just kidding.
How is it that you know all of these fun days to celebrate? Is there a particular website that I could perhaps view and join the celebrations? :) PS- I played boys little league as a little girl... the happiest day of my life (at 7 years old) was the day I found out there was a girls softball little league :)
LOL, that's funny. I remember always thinking, "Whats wrong with doing things like a girl?" My husband tells me I throw like a girl and I say, "Thanks! Want me to teach you how?"
My homeschool buddies and I are all posting pics of
our "home schools" as part of our idea sharing.

Knowledge which is acquired under compulsion has no hold on the mind. Therefore do not use compulsion, but let early education be a sort of amusement; you will then be better able to discover the child's natural bent .
