for a Meme?
The rules are simple…Each player lists 8 facts/habits about themselves. The rules of the game are posted at the beginning before those facts/habits are listed. At the end of the post, the player then tags 8 people and posts their names, then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comment, letting them know that they have been tagged and asking them to read your blog.
8 THINGS ABOUT ME:
- My Mother had a stroke when I was 18 and the tumor that caused it killed her when I was 21.
- We moved to Texas when I was in high school, but I couldn't wait to get back to New Jersey.Although I met two of my closest friends (we call each other our chosen siblings) there.
- I read several books at one time..fiction, nonfiction including some favorites that I read every year.including several cookbooks at a time which I read from cover to cover.
- I am not good at any arts or crafts, but I want to be,same goes for music.
- I do not like to travel if I can't sleep at home.
- I grew up with one sister, but have 3 brothers from my fathers 2nd marriage. There is slightly more age difference between the oldest son and me than me and my father.
- Before I had my daughter,I had my sister's 2 daughters live with me for a couple of years when they were young teenagers.
- I am slightly obsessed with the Revolutionary War period and anything to do with the "Founding Fathers".

We love the Revolutionary war period too- Scout is a major buff! Okay, now I know where we can meet up...how about Washington's Crossing or Valley Forge? When Princess is older, how about road trips to MA? Fun, fun!
Thanks for playing along!
I love reading about people on their blogs when get tagged. I'll definitely do mine.:)
That sounds like fun I will do mine to.
"chosen siblings", I love that.
At least you can cook. I'm not crafty at all but I can't cook either. I refer to what I do as "cobbling." I have no redeeming domestic value.
Losing a mother has to be one of the most life altering things that could happen. It must inform so much of who you are. ((hugs))
It is great to get to know you a little better!
I enjoyed reading this but was sorry to learn of your mother's death. That must have been so hard.
Angela- Oh yeah! I'm in!!
Yas and Heather- I can't wait to read your lists!
Nina- I never claimed to cook well, lol, but I do cook.
Thank you for your kind thoughts.
Patience- Thank you.
As soon as I get a chance I will. I am typing before I run out of time for the day.
I can't wait to read your list Mariposa!
