Thursday is another preschool day

Thursday was a lot of fun here. We talked about winter weather
and watched the flurries fly for a few minutes each about three
different times. We made an "ice skating pond" and Princess did
all the cutting and gluing by herself.
We also worked on measuring as we mad pizza dough for dinner
with our good friends. The men folk played pool while keeping
an eye on the two kiddies playing skee ball in the basement
so the Moms actually got to enjoy adult conversation.
Ah what a treat! We all watched CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY to cap off our evening.

I love how they come up with these ideas and you think to yourself, yay they are getting it. She does excellent cutting. Zachary is left-handed so we need to buy him other scissors so maybe he'll do a better job at cutting. :)

It should be noted that Princess
cut off the tail and both of Mickey's ears during her cutting session. You just can't tell they've been taped back on in the picture.Kate

My homeschool buddies and I are all posting pics of our "home schools" as part of our idea sharing.

Knowledge which is acquired under compulsion has no hold on the mind. Therefore do not use compulsion, but let early education be a sort of amusement; you will then be better able to discover the child's natural bent .
