Happy Earth Day !!
"Judge each day not by the harvest you reap but by the seeds you plant."---Robert Louis Stevenson
I wish all of you a lovely Earth Day! We will be celebrating with a Camp Katie Day
filled with fun in our backyard. I'm going to give the girls some seeds to plant and bring home
and we will do some outdoors crafting no doubt. Hopefully the weather will cooperate for a
visit to a local park in the afternoon. Remember to practice your 3 Rs !

My homeschool buddies and I are all posting pics of
our "home schools" as part of our idea sharing.

Knowledge which is acquired under compulsion has no hold on the mind. Therefore do not use compulsion, but let early education be a sort of amusement; you will then be better able to discover the child's natural bent .

Happy Earth Day!
Today's a good day to listen to environmentally friendly songs. Susan Salidor's "I've Got Peace in My Fingers" is a great anti-littering song.
Outdoor crafting sounds like fun, and a great way to celebrate Earth Day!
Sounds wonderful :-)
Sounds like fun. The temp here is in the thirtys and its alternating between rain and snow so theres no way we an go outside!
What a great day. I love your camp katie days that you do. That is going to leave wonderful memories with P when she is older. We got outside for a little bit today and enjoyed a wonderful picnic. Hopefully I can figure out how to upload the pictures soon so you can see what they have been up to. Oh yeah and a great book list.
Happy Earth Day!
I hope the day was wonderful. Your plans for the children were lovely.
Thank you all Gals!
Mrs D- I wish I could bottle all the sunshine and send you some!
Thanks for the music tip..we love her other stuff.
Our fave yesterday was Jack Johnson's 3R song!
I want to apologize for a mistake I made yesterday. The song of Susan Salidor's I meant to suggest for Earth Day was "I Think You Dropped This" which is an anti-littering song. "I've Got Peace in My Fingers" is just a nice song about getting along with people.
I apologize to anyone who took my suggestion yesterday. But "I Think You Dropped This" is a great environmental song for not only Earth Day, but also any time of the year.
