Today we will celebrate Chinese New Year and Farmer Dad's 42nd Birthday!
Princess is very excited to throw him a "surprise" party..so she keeps telling him.
We will celebrate with Chinese food and cupcakes..I'm not ruining any surprises,
Princess told him last night in a loud stage whisper, adding "don't let Momma know I told you".
We will decorate the house today (we cleaned last night)
along with reading the books on my sidebar pertaining to
Chinese New Year and we will do some crafts too...if not today, there is also tomorrow.
Now I need to get everything ready so today will go as smoothly as possible.

It completely slipped my mind that CNY was upon us until I saw Jenny's and your post. At least now we'll have a small stack of book reserves waiting for us at the library. We had a good time at the CNY festival downtown last year - it looks like it's scheduled for the 16th/17th.
