We are going to talk about. look at and make some art today...that's my plan and I'm sticking to it.
First, I think we'll head outside while the sun is shining.
Princess went to sleep at 8:30 last night and didn't wake up until 6am for a cup of water.
I convinced her it was the middle of the night, and she went back to sleep until 9:00am!
She is fever free and not nearly as "snotty" as she has been. ;-)
I'll be back to post more about our "artistic endeavors" a bit later.

Have fun today! I am happy to hear she is almost better.
I hope P is 100% soon!
I look forward to your art post. E did more art this week than she has in a long time, so I hope to post about that if I can get my act together.
I love the days when I can convince Sophia it's still the middle of the night - although apparently she thinks the middle of the night is as good a time to be awake as any. *sigh*
I am glad P is better:) Isn't it nice that she can be allowed to recover on her own, without being forced to go to school when she's not 100 percent? I always thought that was yet another plus to homeschooling;-)
Thats great that P slept so much! It's the hardest thing getting mine to sleep when they are sick, they are so afraid of missing anything. Glad she feels better, and that you got to do some fun stuff. Art is so fun.
Hi, me again. I found a great book that you will love for the next time you have an "art day". It's called The Art book for Children by Amanda Renshaw, I picked it up last night from the library and thought of you! It has really good prompts for discussing the art at a level that is easy enough for younger ones to learn and appreciate the art - and they have a variety of mediums. I felt compelled to share - Happy Friday!
