Some pictures from our weekend

We stayed inside or at least at home most of this weekend.
We did visit our friend who turned 5 this weekend as well.
Princess and her Dad played baseball and changed the water in the fish tank
and we stripped all the bedding and window coverings and put up the storm windows and
put the winter bedding and window coverings up. There is still much to do to get ready for winter's
impending arrival around here, but that's what Autumn is for.

Sounds like you were busy. As a person who detests the Winter season I can't bear to give over the Autumn season for Winter preparation. We are still wearing our Summer clothes around here. :)

We are in denial around here that it gets as cold as people say. We keep waking up to glorious sunny weather and our leaves have barely started to change. I think we will be in for a big shock when the temp starts to drop!! Nice pictures of a relaxing weekend.

We're definitely an "every other season" sorta family. We love autumn and we love spring.... not so fond of winter nor summer. Sophia is crazy about winter, but I guess snow is a lot more exciting when you're not the one shoveling it.

I'm not so crazy about San Diego, but the one thing it has going for it is that I don't have to do anything to prepare for winter because it has never snowed. Oh wait, I was just thinking today maybe I should get a raincoat and galoshes for Eliza soon because winter = rainy season here.

It looks like P and her dad were having a grand time with baseball. :)

Sounds busy and wonderful at the same time. I love tidying up our nest for winter. Glad you were able to get so much done!

Knowledge which is acquired under compulsion has no hold on the mind. Therefore do not use compulsion, but let early education be a sort of amusement; you will then be better able to discover the child's natural bent .
