Group Pumpkin Project

It's Monday, so it's time to unplug your kids!

The project this week was to use paint, paintbrushes and pumpkins
and let your kids decorate it! Princess had a small pumpkin from the Autumn Festival we
attended last weekend, so she painted that.
Here are some pictures:
Just a reminder to anyone who may have missed it last week, the "Monday Book Post" has been moved to Tuesday so we can take part in the group project at Unplug your kids.

Nicely done pumpkin, and very red! It looks like Princess had fun.

Your photos remind me that I need to get my no-spill paint pots out now that we are doing more painting. Aren't they a great invention?

Enjoy your week, and thanks again for joining in!

We posted our pumpkins too :) We used little bitty ones... that was a challenge. I love P's shirt - I might have to acquire something similar for Soph.

Wow- I just can't imagine having all those paint pots available! CJ would go crazy with them. I guess that's the difference a couple of years makes! I love Princess's bright red pumpkin- my favorite color. :o)

It looks like she had fun with it! In the second to last photo, the pumpkin face is so slick with paint it almost looks alive and wiggly.

Knowledge which is acquired under compulsion has no hold on the mind. Therefore do not use compulsion, but let early education be a sort of amusement; you will then be better able to discover the child's natural bent .
