they picked out together on Saturday,
my sister and I took Princess to an Autumn Festivaltoday at Terhune Orchards in Princeton.
It was awesome. We went on a hay ride
and picked pumpkins
and did the corn maze 
and Princesswent on her first pony ride!
She also listened to a wonderful band, learned about the history of corn,
how to milk a cow
and tried to drive a tractor.
We also came home with a candy apple
which she has been asking us to get her for weeks!!
Then we played with some children at McDonald's where we stopped for lunch
and then found the sister shop to Princess's favorite ice cream place (it closes after summer).
This location has an inside, so we hung out while she played on a big wooden train they have there.
It was a very nice day out.

Great day and wonderful photos. We went to the pumpkin patch on Saturday as well. Hayride, animals, great band and Cate's first candied apple. I wrote my learning notes for last week and confessed that I'm not sure I've ever had a candied apple. It sure did taste yummy but she only let me have two bites. lol.
But alas, I was carrying my baby pumpkin in the hip hammock and trying desperately to keep track of Citcat so I didn't take many good photos nor did we purchase a pumpkin. I couldn't see how I could get two kids and a large pumpkin back to the car by myself.
My dh took Citcat out last night to buy a pumpkin for carving.
