Sick baby

My little Princess was terribly sick last night.

All was fine until a couple of hours into sleeping...

then all you- know-what broke loose. Literally.

It was not pretty or pleasant.

We went back to sleep at about 4:45 am, and slept until 9:30

and 10:00am. She is feeling better now, some Peruvian rice

from Tio, some CONNECT 4 with Farmer Dad.

A huge stack of library books with Momma.

Fortunately we had cancelled Friday night's Taco Party with our friends

due to my old vehicle and the weather. I'd hate to think they'd all get whatever was here.

Unfortunately, we also missed her cousin's swimming party today.

Today we are glad she is well again, and hoping it does not happen to the adults

in the house any time soon.

Oh No- so sorry to hear you missed out on your fun plans. Let's hope this sickness is short and doesn't linger long enough to infect anyone else. Get Well wishes on their way to you Princess :0)

Rotovirus? It's running amok in our area, but we've been lucky so far. No matter the culprit, "all you know what breaking loose" takes a lot out of a kid, but they recover so quickly! Glad to hear P is feeling better so soon.

I clicked the links on your previous post, just so you know, and I did something positive today for my state's clean water activist group.

I also took my turn shoveling snow for the first time in a week, AND I shared my extremely "regional" version of pasta e fagioli fiorentini with three of my kids. "Pasta fazool" takes the edge off 12 degrees very nicely.

Whatchoo cookin', sistah?

Hope P is feeling better this evening. She looks a little puny in the photo. I think a round of cupcakes are in order. ;) Take care so you don't get sick.

poor thing. My oldest daughter was sick on Tuesday.

Love that pic of Princess holding the kitty. The dot on her pants makes it look like its tongue is sticking out. Glad she is feeling better.

Knowledge which is acquired under compulsion has no hold on the mind. Therefore do not use compulsion, but let early education be a sort of amusement; you will then be better able to discover the child's natural bent .
