Play Dates and Visitors

We have had a pretty full week so far in our little corner of
the Garden State. Monday was spent with my niece,A.
She drives down about an hour and a half to spend her
day off with us every other week. She was too tired to head
down the shore, and Princess did not want to go to the movies,
so we hung out here and I rented Enchanted for them to enjoy
together. We had lunch and then took a ride to the library.
Before returning her to her Mom's house, we picked up some
Taco Bell (Farmer Dad,A and P's fave junk food) for dinner.
It was a very nice way to spend a Monday.
Tuesday was filled with household chores and then our Homeschool
Play Group. We met some new families and it was a great play date.
Today we spent the day with our good friends on their new Pirate Ship
Water Slide/Bouncy House.
It was a lot of fun. After playing in the hot sun, the kids went
inside to cool off with some Wii. Don't they look cute together?

Princess is playing hard-to-get, and he's chagrined, but not giving up until she's promised him her heart.

:-D

That pirate ship inflation looks incredible....now if only we had enough yard to place one in :)

Looks like a fun day.

Knowledge which is acquired under compulsion has no hold on the mind. Therefore do not use compulsion, but let early education be a sort of amusement; you will then be better able to discover the child's natural bent .
