A glimpse

into our world.....

Where we put Princess's library books
The kitchen table

The "crabitat" and bookshelves on our sun porch.

What I normally see of Princess
as she dashes about the place.(this photo is not edited, this is literally how many of
my pictures of her come out)What you see if you look down next to the crabitat

Princess's "nature bowl"What do these glimpses say about us?

These glimpses show a family with a love for books and a little sprite for a daughter :-)

These glimpses show intelligence, creativity, visual orientation, kindness, warmth, literacy, eclectic and wholesome acquisitiveness, acceptance, love of animals and nature, curiosity, thoughtfulness, sentimentality, organization, frugality -- and more -- not necessarily in that order.

I always love making your pictures big. God is on the details :-)

That would be IN the details. HIC, Zilla had a glass of wine ;-)

This says: You love to read, lots of library books...

You have a kitchen table I'm green with envy about -- I love it -- along with the cute curtains. My kind of decorating.

You have a crabitat that says you love nature and animals and learning because it's nestled amongst yoru books and school...

You love to take photos of your beautiful daughter, even though she's too fast for the camera at times...

You have a precious kitty...

It says to me that your family is warm, caring, intelligent, family-centered, homey, nature loving -- the kind of family I would love to know in real life!

I love the nature bowl idea.

A family that loves learning.

It says homey and loves to read.

You've inspired me to post some photos of our new house. I'm such a freak about clutter that our house is almost sterile. I love the homey feel of your house.

I've been trying to do a nature shelf with Cate again but Si keeps buggering it up. Perhaps a bowl would work. :)

Your house is so cozy!

Let me tell you (again) how much I love your table. Cozy. And the matching curtain? Beautiful.

My homeschool buddies and I are all posting pics of our "home schools" as part of our idea sharing.

Knowledge which is acquired under compulsion has no hold on the mind. Therefore do not use compulsion, but let early education be a sort of amusement; you will then be better able to discover the child's natural bent .
