I know, I know...

I have been experiencing a great slowness with my computer ,compounded by a great busy-ness in my life,
that has prevented me from updating my blog as often as I would like.
I am trying to get my head back in the game, and re-organize my life and home and thoughts, and this blog.
I hope to be there by next week, when we head into our first full week of 1st Grade.
I have written an extensive post about curriculum choices and all that, and then I deleted it.
Entirely by accident. It is what happens when I get not enough sleep and try to operate as if fully rested.
Princess has been very busy living her Rock Star life, and planning her 6th birthday party, and then changing
her mind and re-planning it.I still have more tomatoes coming in out of the garden than I can process.
We're not sick of tomato sandwiches yet, so it's ok.
We've been trying to squeeze as much summer goodness out of our days as we can until Autumn begins.
I will post pictures when it starts letting me...did I mention I am having computer issues?
I promise, I'll be back!

Oh I completly hear you. I have kind of been missing from mine to. We actually started school last month but things have happened around here. Since those things happened I did not think school was going the right way so I stopped for now and on complete work over of it. Hopefully I will be ready to go next week. LOL. So I understand, I am right there with you.

Enjoy life right now! We had a death in the family and I had to travel cross country with two small children. It feels like I will never recover.

"Rock star life" lol.

Hi Kate, thanks for your comment ;>). Too bad about the deleted post, it sounded interesting! I've learned not to push myself when I'm tired, especially on the computer. There's no telling who emails might get sent to and if they made any sense! Just step away from the computer and go to bed :>) !

Just enjoy your life. Weblogging is about making records in the little cracks of time you have available amongst all the fun and beauty you're actually experiencing.

Love ya.

Seems to be "that time of year" for a lot of bloggers. I agree with patience, and we'll catch up when you're caught up.

Busy can be good!

I must be hungry because my mouth is watering imagining your tomato sandwiches.

My homeschool buddies and I are all posting pics of our "home schools" as part of our idea sharing.

Knowledge which is acquired under compulsion has no hold on the mind. Therefore do not use compulsion, but let early education be a sort of amusement; you will then be better able to discover the child's natural bent .
