Yrs ago my mom gave me a childhood pink plate, depression glass. When we were cleaning out dad's house, I seemed to adopt three more. I guess that makes an official collection because I now have four pieces? I love depression glass. I would love to see some of your kitchenware collection. I am really enjoying the blogs I'm seeing with that kind of thing, plus looking through eBay. Would you believe I did not take a jadite nested bowl set from dad's estate? I am kicking myself for that!

Thanks for tagging me. I'll have to think on it, because it seems I'm so quirky, I can't just pop out one of my quirks. lol

I think you had once asked me what blogs I was reading that were vintage-type. I never responded, but didn't forget. The above is my favorite, including the music that plays there, and I just click off her blogs links.

Ooh...jadite....you didn't take it?
My left eye is twitching, but..oh my.
Pink and green are what I like best!

Thanks for the link..I think I've "been there" before.
I'll stop by later and give you some of my faves. I was going to list them on my sidebar, but I haven't had time..and my computer is sooo slow.

I was going to send you a link to the jadite bowls, but it was a mile long. Yes, it green jadie, the swirl nesting bowls. What was I thinking? At the time I quivered, but I was worried about bringing home too much. That is my one regret. They were probably my grandmother's, to.

Aaaaack!

Sorry about your computer woes.

Here's a quirk: "I'm not political," but I'm investing thirty hours a week in a campaign :-)

We have all but #4 in common. I collect Russel Wright modern dinner wear.

I certainly understand #2....I don't mind cooking, but I usually lose my taste for whatever I'm cooking by the time it reaches the table, however, I do enjoy other people's cooking!

And, I agree with #1, too. I like to garden...but I'm not very 'outdoorsy' other than that!

So glad you played along...it's fun to read about everyone's quirks!

So I like the outdoors but I don't like to garden
I don't like to cook but I like to eat
I like tidying up but not real cleaning
I collect random cute things
I drink my coffee and tea black
I like to travel but I love to come home

You dont like to travel? Oh carry me away! I love it. I wish I didnt like to eat what I cook but alas I like to do both; eating and cooking.

LOL, Thanks Gals..I should clarify...I L-O-V-E to eat (as the size of my bum will assure you)
I just never feel like eating what I just spent a long time cooking.

Knowledge which is acquired under compulsion has no hold on the mind. Therefore do not use compulsion, but let early education be a sort of amusement; you will then be better able to discover the child's natural bent .
