Some of what we've been doing this week....

This week has gone by really quickly.
We had a play date with our homeschool friends.
There wasa lot of fun, reading and playing in the backyard.
Including some nature drawings
We made art and crafts and cooked together.
We worked on our garden and on making our home more orderly and clean.
We played with Moon Sand
and play doh and match games and board games.
We had scavenger hunts..find three different white flowers
in the backyard...find one item in the following colors..red,orange,yellow,green,blue,indigo,violet.
Now make a "still life" and draw it from those items.
We sang and danced and told each other stories,
including some we made up with our felt boards.
We had tea on Monday under a tent in the living room
just because Princess thought it would be fun.It was. I hope your week was filled with good times too.

What a fun, creative week.

Do you really have a book entitled, "Fart" ? :-) ... see your photo with the flowers infront of the books ...

It looks like it was a beautiful week. I think Princess draws well.

You always have so much fun! Have you been thinking about any summer plans yet?

I envy your week. I am accustomed to having weeks like it, but things are changing for a little why. Wah. But I'm inspired to know that these sorts of weeks are only 1 month away!

My homeschool buddies and I are all posting pics of our "home schools" as part of our idea sharing.

Knowledge which is acquired under compulsion has no hold on the mind. Therefore do not use compulsion, but let early education be a sort of amusement; you will then be better able to discover the child's natural bent .
