Random shots from our homeschool week

Here are some pictures showing
a bit about what life and learning look like around here...
some days we get together with our other homeschool friends...some days we hang outside by ourselves..

some days we are inside preparing for the garden

some days we work in the garden

we always haul our books outside
and some time is spent learning about nature from our supply of books
some days we just watch the nature around us instead
How ever we do it, we learn something new every day.
We have some fun too! ;-)

It does look like you have lots of fun- and dragging books outside is a great way to enjoy them!!

What a lovely week the two of you had- it looks like the weather was cooperating too! I love the idea of dragging your books outside- we're going to have to do that more often too!

This is exactly how learning should be! I love the glimpses into your week! I am hopeful we will all be recovered enough to do some of our own bookwork outside this week!

Knowledge which is acquired under compulsion has no hold on the mind. Therefore do not use compulsion, but let early education be a sort of amusement; you will then be better able to discover the child's natural bent .
