Tutus and Uranus....

I cannot post pictures right now, but I will keep trying.
Princess and I had a lot of fun with "TuTu day",
we colored "ballerina" themed pictures, and read ballerina
themed books. She also wore her various tutus around the house
which was quite fun.We baked some bread and made tea for
Farmer Dad when he arrived home from work.
Princess and Farmer Dad played Word Flip and
we played Trouble,Uno and Memo Art .
She was a bit better about going to bed, but could not get to sleep
until quite late. This has been on going- sleeping late and staying up late.
Not sure if it is the "spring forward" or not, but it's wearing
me out.I have tried to wake her up earlier, but it has not been easy.

Today we are going to learn a bit about Uranus
being discovered.Princess has also requested a math book or two
from the library, so we will try to get there.
I will keep trying to post pictures.

spring forward can be such a menace to our bedtime routines! So far so good, but yikes is it tricky to get the little one off to sleep with sunshine pouring through the window!

It sounds like you had a fun night. You are the game-playing-est family I know. Love it!!

My daughter's favorite teddy's name is "tutu" she'd love a "tutu" day, of course her's would mean a tutu teddy day while she wore a tutu.... and funny about the time change it has trigged my little ones to go to bed an hour earlier and wake up 2 hours earlier- I have some strange children, I tell you....

Knowledge which is acquired under compulsion has no hold on the mind. Therefore do not use compulsion, but let early education be a sort of amusement; you will then be better able to discover the child's natural bent .
