No Group Project...

Princess did not feel like doing the unplugged project today.
First we needed to do some "maths" (so she told me) and then
she played with her Lincoln Logs ( I picked up a big box from
a fellow freecycler to add to our collection this weekend)
until it was time to go to our friends house for a play date.
She had a mini melt down when it was time to leave,
but was more calm when we got home to Farmer Dad.
We listened to some Bon Jovi really loudly and
danced around the living room (it is Music in the classroom week ya' know)
and Momma had herself a Bass Ale. Princess had a yoohoo.
Soccer with Farmer Dad out in the backyard took some more of her edge off
and they ate dinner by candlelight while soft music played in the background.
LOL. I ate my dinner while they were outside, because they weren't ready yet.
Hopefully we can all get to bed early tonight.

This weekend was very busy with a free mr ray concert on Friday night, a play date
with our friend's son here on Saturday, followed by a play date with another friend's daughter
at my sister's Saturday night. Sunday found Princess driving up to visit Little Man at his new house
with my sister. They have been missing each other.
It was a very long weekend and so we will try to take it easy this week.

I cannot get my photos loaded..I'll try later.

Oh that is sweet that she misses Little Man.

A weekend that busy would have even left me overstimulated and grumpy! I agree, a little down time is exactly what you both need!

That day sounds pretty good, even with all the ups and downs. I can just picture it. :)

Knowledge which is acquired under compulsion has no hold on the mind. Therefore do not use compulsion, but let early education be a sort of amusement; you will then be better able to discover the child's natural bent .
