Spring Fever

Oh yes, we've got it. Yesterday was lovely here in the Garden State.
We played outside, made markers for the garden plants.
Our Sweet Prince came over after school for a play date

with his Mom. Princess and I made brownies and pizza.

We all sat outside and the kids played, the Mom's talked.
It was lovely. Farmer Dad came home as they were getting
ready to leave, and then we had dinner (taco night).
Princess and Pumpkin played on the computer before bed.

Today , it is gray and looking likely to rain.A stack of books awaits
us upon completion of our regular "school work".
Nothing too grueling, some math (and we'll play a math game later today),
some science (garden related). Reading...so many books..not enough hours
in the day. We have laundry too. I will try to get back into a regular
blogging groove again soon....I am still looking for the lap top that is meant to be mine.
Should I go with "happy green", or "pink"? So many choices..I'm probably too
cheap for a color anyway..black or gray it will most likely be. ;-)

They make pink laptops??? I lead a sheltered life up here in Maine...

My computer has been acting very wonky of late.... half of my blog disappeared, having trouble surfing....a new laptop would be cool :0)

Not that you'd ever want or need to make a decision based on this, but I feel obliged to admit that my laptop is black. Black is slimming. When I type on this baby, I'm down twenty-five pounds. Before the flu, the "slimming" effect was great. Since the flu, every time I open email I've got spam from some eating disorder clinic in Malibu. Their logo is Barbie doll pink.

THIS is why I vote for HAPPY GREEN!!!

(Are we really voting? Or was the whole color question rhetorical?)

Oooo go pink. I don't think color effects the price. There are also some mocha colored ones that I like.

We got the green Dell one because it was the cheapest one that fit our parameters that week. If we had been able to pull the trigger the previous week we would have had a black Toshiba. Our decisions generally come from the pocketbook...

Knowledge which is acquired under compulsion has no hold on the mind. Therefore do not use compulsion, but let early education be a sort of amusement; you will then be better able to discover the child's natural bent .
