Princess lost a tooth last night, so the first order
of business this morning was to see what the tooth fairy
left under her pillow.
Next we looked for the note from the Leprechaun that begins
Next we looked for the note from the Leprechaun that begins our "Rainbow Treasure Hunt". It is a tradition here.
Princess enjoys it at least as much as we do, so we still keep it.
The Leprechaun leaves us "clues" in the order of the colors of
the rainbow. This year it looked like this...

Come on a treasure hunt with the Leprechauns..

Your first instruction is hidden right under here..
You will find the first clue under the RED pillow on a chair that rocks!
The second clue is in a bowl filled with orange!
It's for certain, clue number three is behind a yellow curtain! 
Fill the green bird feeder and find clue number four (put on your coat to go out doors)
Clue number five will be found in a house with a blue roof..near the ground.
For clue number six,you'll need to knowthe pants on Mom are Indigo, so in her back left pocket your hand should go.
There are no violets growing out here, so go back inside
to see what the Leprechaun left as a surprise!
I meant to leave the "prize" on the table before we went out,
so while she looked on her bed (where it's been left previously),
I popped in on the kitchen table.

wrapped within that scrolled note, Princess found a leprechaun picture to color,
a leprechaun craft to do and a new pack of watercolors.
Breakfast was French toast served on her vintage Care Bear rainbow plates.
Next we started our crock pock Corned Beef and Cabbage for dinner.

Princess looks like she had a ball..
Such a great tradition. Didn't I say that I'd try it this year? Woops.... I've been sp[ending all of my time outdoors watching the kids zoom on their bikes.
What a day. It looks like she enjoyed it.
My Uncle had that blessing on his memorial cards. He was all Irish and he just loved St. Patrick's day.
