How we Homeschool

A quick peek at how we homeschool here in our little corner
of the Garden State lately We spend a lot of time outside

we still like to dress up

doing our part to Keep the Garden in the Garden State

Riding her bike on the next door neighbor's driveway

field trip

painting with watercolors

digging in the dirt

still trying to get the hang of watercolors..some reading outside

swinging

we even do "book" work outside....
now I must run. Today is Find a Rainbow Day,(fortunately, it's raining right now)
and it's also housecleaning day
for us, so I must be off!

awww... so jealous. I can't wait for a warm _dry_spring day.

Also I wanted to say that I love her flamingo picture!

You're so fortunate. We aren't that far from you, yet the winds keep us from getting outside until it gets into the 60's!

I love how your days look; as lazy and relaxed as ours, while still being fun and productive!

Princess has everything she needs in her outside wonderland!

I'm on my hubby to get us a picnic table so Owen and I can enjoy some lunches/reading outside.

I'm looking forward to warm days reading outside and playing games on the porch at night. Cold and rainy today... You have a wonderful homeschool environment!

Knowledge which is acquired under compulsion has no hold on the mind. Therefore do not use compulsion, but let early education be a sort of amusement; you will then be better able to discover the child's natural bent .
